Family NEW in GRAZ?!

For families from abroad, especially non-German speakers, it can be quite challenging to get information about provisions and arrangements in relation to family care obligations. Irrespective of whether a temporary or permanent stay in Graz is planned, for all those with children, it is vital to find a suitable daily childcare facility. For people accompanied by partners or parents in need of support or care, information about support and care services is an absolute necessity.

Whether on an hourly basis, at an institution or individually, nurseries/kindergartens/schools, language courses and/or parent get-togethers, provisions for the elderly, it is not always easy to find out about specific arrangements and financial benefits.

We provide information on provisions and establish contacts for you right from the start or even ahead of your stay.

Managerial staff – what you need to know

  • Family care obligations should not deter (doctoral) students or (scientific) staff from coming to Graz. You are very welcome to get in touch with unikid & unicare already during the recruitment phase.
