Flexible Care Services for Adults or the Elderly

When adult or elderly family members suddenly need help, this can have serious consequences for you. Has your partner broken an arm and is therefore unable to attend to the every-day organisation (and children)? Do you already visit your parent or parents regularly and do not want to leave them alone for several days while attending a conference? Whether you need a replacement for a few hours, either on a flexible or regular basis, or opt for short-term institutional or individual care on demand – we inform you about provisions, establish contacts and support you in your search for suitable forms of care both in acute cases and in the planning stage.

Managerial staff – what you need to know

  • Several factors can cause distress in connection with sudden and unexpected care responsibilities for an adult family member: organising (temporary) support as well as worrying about the affected person can overburden your employee(s).

  • There are different provisions available with regard to short-term care or supporting measures in addition to or in place of a family network.
    On-demand support

  • Possibly, the need for care arrangements is not directly addressed. How would you prepare to respond to questions like that?

  • We also inform and support family members who do not live in Graz.

  • Please do not hesitate to contact us, if questions arise.

General/scientific staff – what you need to know

  • Regardless of whether a member of your family faces foreseeable or unexpected change and requires your support in that situation, you will opt to either care for that person yourself or organise suitable Support.

  • It may not be easy at first to define exactly what and how much support is necessary – but we respond to whatever your situation is and research confidentially information and facts concerning your individual situation.

  • Do you need daily meals to be delivered, is it about short-term help in the household or even a bring and pick-up service? Are regular visits needed, or just company for joint activities and a little assistance, or do you need to make preparations for permanent support or possibly even long-term care?
