Care options for ill children
Sometimes there are appointments that cannot be postponed and your child is ill or not yet well enough to go to their childminder, nursery, kindergarten or school - nobody in your private network has time to help and your babysitter is not available. If you are in this situation a "Notfallmama" (emergency mum) can provide you with flexible, professional childcare.
Honorary grandmas and grandpas
The katholische Familienverband Steiermark (catholic family association in Styria) operates a placement service for honorary grandmas and grandpas: the organisation finds competent and certified honorary grandmas and grandpas who want to support families and who, over time, become an important parental figure in your child’s life.
Are you looking for flexible, hourly childcare in an institution? If you only need childcare occasionally or to bridge a gap, before regular childcare starts or in summer, register for childcare by 11am the day before at the latest.
